About the role
- Demonstrate significant professional knowledge and judgment in all clinical tasks.
- Take an active role in multidisciplinary teams , gaining exposure to advanced imaging modalities.
- Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) and Quality Assurance (QA) programs , and contribute to workplace safety initiatives (e.g., WHS & Radiation Safety).
- Provide exceptional patient care , understanding patient needs and ensuring comfort.
- Maintain a strong commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and actively support the education of undergraduate students and staff.
- Participate in a 24-hour roster , including on-call work as required.
- Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration and a New South Wales EPA Radiation License, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Extensive clinical experience in a Medical Imaging environment, demonstrating the ability to perform a wide range of imaging procedures with a focus on patient care and safety.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, fostering collaboration, motivating colleagues, and aligning efforts to achieve organizational goals and improve patient outcomes.
- A strong commitment to best practice in radiography, with a proven ability to solve complex problems, make informed decisions, and implement improvements to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, coupled with a high level of computer literacy, enabling efficient use of imaging systems, patient records, and seamless collaboration within the team
