THE POSITION
- Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students
- Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
- Monitor stock and minimize wastage
- Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
- Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
- Stand down period during school holidays
- Opportunities to pick up shifts during school stand down
THE PERSON
- Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
- Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
- Experience with cooking in bulk quantities, with the ability to produce a variety of cooking cuisines
- Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
- work independently and in a small team.
- Function experience with high end presentation for buffets, plated meals and catering boxes.
- Willingness to assist on server and operate POS when required.
