About the Role
As an Estates Paralegal at our firm, every day will be different. We are a full service estates firm so we are involved in estate litigation, administration and planning matters. You will be joining a highly skilled team of seasoned professionals. The team will provide mentoring as you grow your skills in fields you are already comfortable with.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Meet with Senior Associates to discuss priorities for the day and week;
- Review client instructions to prepare drafts of Wills, EPAs and AHDs for final sign off by a Senior Associate;
- Organising NOITA adverts, preparing filings for Probate or Letters of Administration, etc;
- Answering client queries, reverting to lawyer where required;
- Information gathering for estate litigation matters;
- Drafting family provision application documents;
- Involvement in client intake to respond to potential client queries;
- Estate planning signing appointments;
- Ensuring all task completion dates are recorded and monitored;
- Invoicing as required.
