Aerofast Australia Pty Ltd is a large privately owned industrial fastener distribution company, servicing the building and construction industries.
The opportunity
Our growing Sunshine Coast branch is looking for an additional part-time driver/store person to join our existing hard working, dedicated team. Your duties will have considerable variety. The role is predominantly attending to local customer deliveries, but will also include some order picking and packing, counter sales, customer enquiries and stock handling.
What we require
- A strong focus on customer service and satisfaction
- A trustworthy, reliable and responsible person with a strong work ethic
- Physical fitness as you will be lifting up to 20kg packages
- A professional attitude and presentation – you will be dealing with customers
- Ability to work both independently and within a small team
- Sound computer skills and professional phone manner
Must have
- Current Australian driver's license
- Strong focus on customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Construction Industry experience ia a must.
Main Duties
- Customer deliveries to businesses and construction sites
- Delivery of internal stock transfers to the business's other sites at Woodridge and the Gold Coast
- Loading product into company vehicles
- Maintaining a clean vehicle.
Other Duties May Include
- Checking packed orders for accuracy
- Loading and sealing pallets
- Picking and packing stock if required
- Assisting in general warehouse as required
- Attending to counter sales
- Attending to phone and email customer enquiries.
