About the Role
As a cleaner you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.
- Permanent part-time cleaning hours 31.0 hours per fortnight.
- Temporary part-time cleaning hours 36.0 hours per fortnight.
- This position is for 67 hours per fortnight and would involve working Monday - Friday, split shifts morning and afternoon. Hours excluding ADO arrangements.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Cleaning windows, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory and basins.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
- Cleaning of concrete, bitumen and paved surfaces.
- Disposal of rubbish and litter control.
- Dusting including student and office furniture, equipment and fans.
- Locking and unlocking of school buildings.
