About the Role:

Are you ready to lead and inspire teams in a role that drives success and innovation? As the Operations Manager - Easy Living , you'll oversee daily operations within the Easy Living business unit, supporting admin teams and delivering exceptional service. You'll lead diverse teams, enhance workplace culture, and champion customer outcomes. Reporting to the Head of Home and Easy Living Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in implementing global initiatives and fostering growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and empower team leaders; manage team performance; implement career development plans; and ensure resource allocation to maximize productivity.
  • Strategic Growth: Develop and transform operational systems to enhance digitalization, efficiency, and claims management. Drive cost control and support onboarding new clients.
  • Reporting: Deliver insightful reports, proposals, and presentations to senior management.
  • Customer Service: Oversee complaints handling, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards while delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, negotiating and influencing at senior levels.
  • Risk & Compliance: Adhere to risk management, compliance, and workplace safety standards while ensuring ethical business practices.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in operational management within the insurance industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a knack for identifying challenges and developing effective solutions.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of RG271, consumer protection laws, AFCA approaches, and industry codes of practice.
