Description:
We are a Fine Arts Bronze Foundry, based in Brendale.
Successful applicants will be involved in various manufacturing tasks to help produce and assemble bronze sculptures to the highest standards for various clients. This role requires hands-on individual with experience in welding/grinding and finishing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks (MIG, TIG, or other relevant techniques) as required
- Operate various machinery and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist with the assembly and fabrication of bronze sculptures.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and housekeeping protocols.
- Assist with packing and preparation of products for dispatch.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in welding and general manufacturing or factory operations.
- Knowledge of MIG and/or TIG welding techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety and hygiene practices.
- Forklift licence (Not essential)
Job Type: Casual leading into a full time role
Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
