The Office of the Deputy Director-General, Corporate Services within the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB) provides:• Strategic advice and support to departmental senior executives and officers on issues relating to corporate business activities.• Executive support to the Deputy Director-General, Corporate Services.• Governance, liaison, reporting and business support for the Corporate Services division.• Procurement coordination, policy and advice for CDSB.• Property and facilities management for CDSB.The immediate priority for the Senior Project Officer is to coordinate a review of Brisbane CBD accommodation and lease arrangements, in collaboration with departmental business areas and the Queensland Government AccommodationOffice, including making recommendations to the executive leadership team and coordinating relocations and leases.
As the Senior Project Officer, you will:• Prepare departmental and divisional operational and performance management reports, including maintaining documented requirements and procedures.• Coordinate and support reviews and projects as directed by the Director, effectively planning resource allocation, stakeholder communication, risk management and continuous monitoring to ensure successful project outcomes.• Undertake or assist in research or analytical tasks relating to the operations of the division.• Monitor and manage business support activities for the Corporate Services division, including identifying opportunities for improvement.
