The
Opportunity

We
are seeking a proactive and strategic Finance Business Partner to join
our dynamic finance team at Southern Cross Care. In this role, you will work closely with senior
management and operational teams to provide financial insights, analysis, and
guidance that drive informed decision-making and enhance financial performance.

This
is a key role that requires a strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder
management skills, and the ability to translate complex financial data into
meaningful business strategies.


Key
responsibilities of this role include:


  • Partner with operational and senior management teams to
    provide financial insights and strategic advice.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and
    forecasts to support business planning and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks,
    and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support key business initiatives with financial
    evaluation, reporting, and recommendations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and
    presentations for senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures,
    and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and
    systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What
you’ll need:


  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    (CPA or CA qualification preferred).
  • Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or
    similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a
    commercial mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to
    engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and present
    insights in a clear and impactful manner.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in the aged care, healthcare, or
    not-for-profit sector (desirable but not essential).
