Our Facilities Maintenance team provide planned and responsive maintenance, emergency repairs, disability modification upgrades, vacant restorations, property surveys, demolition, asbestos removal, and construction services throughout New South Wales, South Australia and Tasmania.
The Opportunity:
We seek a motivated Compliance and Training Coordinator to join our Facilities Maintenance team based out of our Whyalla or Port Augusta office.
Reporting to the Compliance and Training Manager, the Compliance and Training Coordinator will work to ensure RTC’s ongoing compliance with contractual, regulatory, and safety obligations through audits, non-conformance resolution, and development of training.
Standard working weeks are 40 hours, Monday to Friday. This fast-paced role involves travel to various sites throughout the regions, with no two days being the same.
About You:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the residential building industry and have demonstrated track record of effectively coordinating quality and safety compliance.
You will possess high-level analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail to identify present and emerging risks and develop effective solutions. With multiple projects on the go at any one time, you will thrive working in a fast-paced environment and be adept at managing various competing demands to ensure works are completed in line with set timeframes.
You will be a strong communicator (both written and verbal) and possess the people skills required to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Working closely with our operations team, subcontractors, and clients, you will be an effective collaborator while also being highly autonomous and able to manage work without direction or supervision.
Requirements:
• Domestic Trade Qualification or demonstrated experience in a quality assurance/compliance role within the building industry.
• Thorough understanding of Australian Standards and National Construction Code.
• Qualifications or previous experience managing WHS & RTW (Desirable)
• Drivers Licence
• OHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• National Police Check
• Successful completion of a medical check, including Alcohol and other Drugs screening.
