About the role

TAFE SA is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Infrastructure Support Officer to join our Facilities and Projects team . This role is crucial in supporting the Capital Infrastructure Workgroup, which delivers building and construction projects through the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA).

As an Infrastructure Support Officer, you will:

  • Work within the Capital Infrastructure Workgroup, assisting in the delivery of building and construction projects under AGFMA.
  • Provide financial administration support, including tracking and reporting on capital expenditure projects.
  • Deliver effective project support, including data collation, compliance reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Assist in record management, communication updates, and project documentation to support project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, government agencies, service providers, and industry partners.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience supporting capital infrastructure projects, including financial administration and compliance reporting.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in data management and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document project progress and liaise with stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently and within a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and solution-focused mindset with attention to detail.
  • A background in financial administration, business management, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within government processes is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal Culture and Community.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

  • This role is based at Regency Campus, but you may be required to work from other locations.
  • Out of hours work may be required
  • Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required.
  • Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
