The Role
We’re looking for a motivated Automotive Parts Interpreter to join our team. Whether you’re stepping off the tools or already experienced in parts interpretation, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to stay in the industry without the hands-on workshop demands.
As an Automotive Parts Interpreter, you will:
- Help customers identify and source the right automotive parts and components.
- Work closely with workshop staff to ensure the correct parts are supplied for repairs.
- Deliver excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Maintain inventory records and assist with stock management.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure efficient ordering and restocking.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as an Automotive Parts Interpreter or related role (preferred).
- Strong understanding of automotive parts and systems.
- A background in hands-on automotive work is a bonus for transitioning off the tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with parts interpretation software (advantageous).
- A team player with a genuine passion for the automotive industry.
