About the Opportunity
We are actively seeking experienced and dedicated Personal Care Workers to join our team on a Permanent basis to cover a range of different shifts.
Successful candidates may also have the opportunity to work across other local Allity sites and cover planned and unplanned leave.
Reporting to our Registered Nurses, our Personal Care Workers are responsible for providing quality care to our residents. This includes:
- Providing direct care, support and guidance to residents in accordance with best practice.
- Working towards establishing positive relationships with our residents and working collaboratively within a team environment with an attitude of respect, integrity and teamwork.
- Responsiveness to reporting incidents and changes in resident behaviour in a timely manner to RNs.
You will have the opportunity to develop your aged care career under the guidance and mentorship of experienced nursing professionals within the aged care industry. You will receive hands-on training and support from our dedicated RNs, and Management team.

To be successful you will have
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Complete a police check
- Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
- Highly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Highly efficient and motivated
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care or Individual Support
- Minimum of 6 months Aged Care experience
- Flexibility to work available shifts on short notice
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with residents, families and team members
