We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Trades Assistant to join us in our Operations & Maintenance team in Port Hedland on a full time permanent basis. This is a residential role in Port Hedland.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the site team in the safe and reliable operations of the Port Hedland Power Station, Battery Storage System and Solar Farm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warehouse inwards, outwards goods and inventory control
  • Assisting Site Operations Personnel in Operations and Maintenance tasks
  • Forklift Operations
  • Be actively involved in site safety discussions
  • General Maintenance duties as directed by the site supervisor

Your background

  • High Risk Forklift Licence or ability to obtain
  • Use of MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
  • Confined Space entry certificate or willing to obtain
  • Ability to understand work instructions and standard operating procedure
  • Excellent Team Player and Safety Focused

About the Team

The Port Hedland Power Station Consists of 5 Gas Turbines, a 35 MW Battery Storage System and a 45 MW Solar Farm. The Site team operates and maintains the assets with a focus on Safety, reliability and meeting our customers’ needs
