Central Desert Native Title Services Ltd (Central Desert) works in partnership with the Aboriginal people of the central desert region of Western Australia as they shape a self-determined future of independence, control and connection to Country, Culture and Community.
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Administration Officer (Reception) to join our Operations team. This busy and rewarding role provides general administrative support, including front office duties, managing schedules, processing invoices, and maintaining office supplies. You will assist staff with various tasks, including event coordination, catering setups, and onboarding new employees. Additionally, you’ll ensure the office and meeting rooms are well-maintained and assist with video conferencing and other administrative needs.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Strong customer service skills, acting as the first point of contact for the business and ensuring a positive experience for clients and visitors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with experience working with diverse individuals.
• Proven administrative experience including scheduling, document preparation, and data entry, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and demonstrate initiative in improving processes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, as well as the ability to plan and coordinate office events smoothly, including logistics, budgeting, and catering.
