About the role:
We are seeking a passionate individual with project management experience and a technical background in food contact products or packaging to join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist.
You will demonstrate a keen inquisitiveness—constantly seeking to improve processes, stay ahead of industry advancements, and proactively address challenges in product safety and compliance. Your expertise in product development and collaboration with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) will allow you to provide insightful and effective contributions in areas such as regulatory compliance, product specifications, and customer support.
- Support customer and internal teams with new product onboarding, queries, complaints and compliance requests effectively.
- Develop and establish product quality guidelines to support the design and new product development teams.
- Ensure product compliance with mandatory standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies by collaborating with partner facilities and external certification laboratories.
- Analyse product test results and generate detailed reports for stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners to enhance and maintain reliable product quality.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct technical assessments and investigations, presenting findings effectively to stakeholders and driving improvement actions across business functions.
- Address and resolve corrective actions arising from client feedback, subcontractor reports, or internal non-compliance observations, ensuring adequate remedial measures and documented quality evidence.
- Continuously monitor operations to ensure adherence to company policies and legislative requirements.

- Ability to speak mandarin is highly preferrable however not essential.
- Skilled in communicating complex technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities effectively.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with a strong sense of initiative.
- Knowledge of quality systems and tools to drive successful outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work autonomously while contributing to a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven post-qualification experience in a similar role or demonstrated ability to adapt and apply required skills.
