About the role
- Team Global Express is currently seeking a Fleet Controller to join our team in Mackay
- This is a Full Time, Salaried Permanent Position, Monday to Friday (AM Starts)
- You will be required to plan and co-ordinate the pickup and delivery of consignments in the most cost effective and efficient manner possible.
- Effective load planning and preparation of runs
- Daily Debriefing of all drivers. Addressing Poor performance and non-compliances on the spot.
- Ancillary Equipment ordering /maintenance and control.
- Compile loads to ensure most efficient use of drivers and equipment.
- Ensure that all vehicles comply with customer and freight requirements.
- Preparation of loading/unloading documentation including manifests and compliance documentation.
- Supervision of drivers to monitor and enforce general compliance with State and Federal Laws.
- Provide feedback to customers internal / external as required on status of pick up and deliveries
- Ensure compliance and contribute to the on-going development of Operational procedures and documentation is consistently updated on our System
- At all times, ensure employees and contractors work in accordance with the established procedures and practices of the business.
- Prepare and manage repairs and maintenance for company equipment.
- Participate in and contribute to operational toolbox meetings and OHS meetings.
