We are seeking a Senior Administration Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Clinical Governance Unit, ensuring efficient and effective operations. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of clinical governance and compliance over the quality of care and services provided across Anglicare, and to ensure legislative and compliance requirements are achieved in accordance with the Organisation’s Christian Vision, Mission and Values.
Specific Accountabilities

Administrative Support : Provide general administrative assistance, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records. Ensuring general administrative duties are coordinated effectively to achieve a high standard of work, identifying gaps in procedures, and developing and implementing better business practices where required.

Communication : Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling inquiries and providing information as needed.

Compliance Monitoring : Support the monitoring and reporting of compliance with clinical governance policies and procedures. Ensure there is a comprehensive understanding and implementation of Anglicare’s strategy, vision and values, and we comprehensively support Anglicare to meet legislative and compliance requirements.

Data Management : Assist in the collection, entry, and management of clinical data and reports, including those related to clinical risk management.

Document Preparation : Prepare and format documents, reports, and presentations for the Clinical Governance Unit.

File Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both electronic and paper based.

Intranet Administration : assist with the administration of the clinical governance intranet page, including content management, site navigation, user engagement, monitoring usage and analytics reporting.

Meeting Coordination : Organize and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.

Project Management and Support : Assist with project management and initiatives across the clinical governance team as directed.
Key Skills :

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of clinical governance and compliance standards is an advantage.
Qualifications and Experience:

Education : Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or related field.

Experience : Previous experience (5+ years) in an administrative role, preferably within a healthcare or aged care setting.
