Attractions People Specialist
$31.54 per hour Part Time
Movie World, Oxenford & Sea World, Main Beach
About the role:
The Attractions People Specialist will act as the central point of contact for Attractions team members by overseeing day to day team member management, providing consistent engagement, support and coordination of the department.
Duties:
• Operate as the primary contact point for Attraction team members communication, ensuring consistent support and engagement is provided
• Provide input into to the Park Supervisors and Training Coordinator regarding team member performance and progression suitability
• Manage team member enquiries and accountability
• Coordinate daily ride operational requirements ensure skill coverage is met
• Facilitate team member meetings, feedback, performance evaluations and reviews
• Coordinate the operation of attractions for events and night functions
• Investigate team member matters in consultation with the Park Supervisor and People & Culture
• Coordinate team schedules as required, including leave requests, shift changes, UKG and meeting arrangements
• Assist with the development and succession planning team members within Attractions through mentoring, guiding and coaching
• Assigned administrative tasks as required
• Assist in the planning and execution of the recruitment process
Skills & Experience:
• Exceptional people management skills and personal communication
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Willing to complete training courses that support the role such as Mental Health First Aid, Recruitment, Annual Reviews & Performance Discussion.
• Previous experience in a leadership role, developing and managing team members
• Strong administrative ability and computer skills
• Exceptional organizational skills
• An understanding of workforce management and software
• Ability to use initiative to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Previous experience in Attractions department is advantageous
