- This is a temporary Grade Clerk 7/8 role, up to 1 December 2025, based in Mascot
About the Role
As a Policy Officer within the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage and Land Strategy Team, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with Aboriginal communities and key stakeholders, helping to refine planning policies and support cultural heritage reforms. You. Our ideal candidate.
- You have a relevant tertiary qualification, in policy, law, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- You have strong cultural awareness and a deep understanding of Aboriginal communities
- You have demonstrated knowledge of the Aboriginal Lands Right Act 1983 (NSW) and experience in its application
- You have experience delivering training or providing guidance on policy matters to Aboriginal communities
- You hold a current Driver’s License and are willing to travel around NSW as required
- You communicate sensitively and effectively with, and understand issues impacting on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

Salary : Clerk Grade 7/8. Package includes base salary ($110,266 - $122,058) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
