Do you have strong commercial and engagement skills and want to make a difference? Here's your chance to join Queensland Treasury's $520 million Low Emissions Investment Partnerships Program and help accelerate emissions reductions in Queensland and attract new investment opportunities to the State.
In this role, you will:
• Lead the assessment of the commercial, economic and technical merits of private sector proposals and their alignment with the LEIP program.
• Evaluate complex business cases and financial and technical models to provide advice on emissions reduction viability and sustainability
• research current and emerging industry trends, emissions reduction dynamics and new technologies to inform investment decisions
What experience you will bring:
• commercial acumen, including finance and commercial analysis and evaluation
• understanding of the factors influencing private sector investment and industry development associated with the resources sector
• the ability to research, analyse and interpret current and emerging trends on emissions abatement and technology development.
• high level interpersonal skills and strong private sector stakeholder engagement experience
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
