The Position
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Primary Teachers who have a genuine commitment to the education of young people to join our team on a full-time, 12mth fixed-term basis to cover parental leave from early-mid June 2025, until June 2026.
As an educator committed to excellence, you will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children, guiding their growth and development through innovative and age-appropriate curriculum. Working collaboratively within a supportive team, you will bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to student wellbeing and academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate contemporary teaching practices, including the effective use of technology, to support student engagement and achievement.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Participate in school activities, professional development, and co-curricular programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance student learning and wellbeing.
- Be a qualified and VIT registered Primary Teacher
- Be committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Experience working with lower primary years from Prep – Year 2
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) is desirable.
- Have strong communication and collaboration skills.
