Who could you be at GHD?
We have an exciting, and very new role in our Group Finance team for 2026! With your background in Accounting (preferred), Commerce or Finance (but willing to take on extra study in the future) this role will give you exposure not only to several parts of GHD’s Finance team, but also some of the most senior Finance Leaders in our business!
A little more about the team, and the role can be found below:
- The position will be based in Melbourne, working alongside around 20 members of the Finance team
- The role will go through 3 x8 month rotations in during the graduate program across FP&A, Financial Control and Commercial Finance
- In FP&A , you’ll have the opportunity to support our annual budget process and get a feel for reporting and commentary for GHD’s executive management team
- In Financial Control , you’ll work with our ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) Finance team to look at GHD’s corporate decarbonisation strategy and tracking progress against our climate targets
- In Commercial Finance , we’ll pair you up with some of our local Finance Business Partners to build out your understanding of how GHD works with our clients, reviewing our operational data to help create insights to improve financial performance.
Our two-year Graduate Development Program is designed to give you a smooth start to your career, and you’ll be intertwined with all of our graduates across the APAC business. Alongside your peers, managers and mentors, we’ll help you detangle any challenges along the way.

- Meet the team: Next, you’ll have a face-to-face or virtual interview with your prospective team. We’ll chat through some behavioural based questions to learn more about your skills and experience. It’s also a chance for you to get to know us!
- Psychometric assessments: These quick tests give us a glimpse into how you like to work and your strengths in relation to the role, complementing what we learn during your interview.
- Offer: Congratulations! If you’re successful, we’ll talk through all the finer details, like salary, your start date, and our background checking process.
