Description:
- Full Time, 35 hours per week
- Temporary up to 3 months
- Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations. Preference will be given to candidates based regionally, with a focus on Queanbeyan, Armidale, Dubbo and Coffs Harbour
- Clerk Grade 11/12 – Salary from $145,378 to $168,130 per annum plus super and leave loading

About the Role
As the Data Governance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the agency's data is managed effectively and in compliance with regulations, from creation to disposal. You’ll be go-to expert for data management practices, driving improvements, fostering data-driven decision making, and building strong stakeholder relationships to promote a culture of data excellence. Your role will require both strategic vision and hands-on management to optimise data workflows and deliver high-quality outputs.
About You
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a discipline that requires analysis of complex information, interpretation and written reporting of findings or other relevant experience
- Experience in designing strategy and/or leading the implementation of initiatives/projects in a data management environment to mature data capability
- Ability to think strategically, research, investigate and critically analyse complex issues to develop solutions and/or make recommendations to support the delivery of business outcomes
- Experience applying DAMA’s Data Management Book of Knowledge (DMBok) and/or ISACA’s Data Management Maturity Model (DMM)
- Experience in applying data governance practices within a Microsoft Azure environment
- Data management practice, project management and/or intelligence expertise.
