Description- Great opportunity to build a career in property finance
- Supporting a diversified property portfolio
- Parent Leave cover based in Brisbane, with working flexibility
How will I help?
Rock-solid relationships are at the heart of every commercial banking decision we make. In this strategic role you’ll work closely with Relationship Managers to make sure those connections are second to none.
Our Assistant Relationship Managers play a really important role in generating high-quality deals and managing business banking portfolios – helping with everything from credit submissions and deal structuring to financial analysis. Your financial insights will be put to good use, spotting any potential risks involved with existing or new clients and their financial requests. You’ll conduct property finance deal analysis and support the Relationship Managers with regular portfolio reviews to make sure the best quality credit submissions are maintained, while making sure the relationships we have with our clients are kept in just as good shape.
What’s in it for me?
You’ll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years. Our purpose is to create better futures together. So, we’ll back you in the development of your career, internal career prospects, and flexible working. You’ll also keep learning to grow your career, backed by a fantastic team of people with a can-do, supportive structure. Whatever shape your family takes, we offer generous paid and unpaid parental leave for your nominated primary and support carers. This includes leave to organise adoptions, surrogacy, and foster care arrangements. And we continue to pay your super contributions while you take all the time you need to get your new family settled.
What do I need?
Firstly, a background in either business banking analysis or property finance / property lending. You’ll need some serious financial smarts and will bring impressive capability in credit analysis and credit risk writing – you’ll need this to hit the ground running. A property valuations background is also beneficial.
A natural communicator, you’ll be comfortable dealing with customers and a range of stakeholders, able to guide them towards a decision (the right one). A team player and a decisive thinker, you’ll work collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers. Your drive to succeed will help you tackle even the most challenging tasks with an open mind and energy!
A University degree in commerce, accounting, or finance will be advantageous.
