Engineering Manager

Description:

As the Engineering Manager at AC by Marriott Hotel Southbank, ideally you have worked in hotels before, with experience managing and motivating a small team and the ability to communicate effectively with hotel owners, senior management, contractors and guests alike.

Position Summary:

• Manage the Day-to-day system operation and maintenance routines of the property

• Oversee all preventative maintenance repairs, feeling empowered to make an impact

• Liaise with contractors, suppliers and like-minded people for equipment and relationship building

• Be a dynamic and thoughtful leader by empowering and supporting your team through general operational tasks

• Actively identify, conduct and manage repairs to the building and equipment

• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings

• Oversee building & service standards and identify and implement improvement initiatives showcasing your creativity and innovation skills

• Be the main point of contact for all external & internal clients for the Engineering department

• Ensure you and the team uphold all company policies and procedures whilst demonstrating the Marriott core values

About You:

• Relevant managerial experience in general maintenance, property maintenance in hotels, facilities, residential or commercial.
