How will I help?
The EM/Product Owner role is critical for creating new digital ways of working to drive positive commercial outcomes and delivering future state collections’ treatment paths. The position is responsible for delivering a market leading digital customer contact solution.
This role will have a strong focus on digital execution, analytics and data-driven decisioning. Delivering improved speed-to-market, increased diversity of contact strategies, and deeper customer insights through analytics, customer behavioural analysis and machine learning.
Some of the key accountabilities are:
- Develop product(s) supporting future state analytics use cases and execution of customer contact strategies, which will enable deployment of models, e.g. propensity to pay model that supports streamlined solutions and escalation, debt recovery model
- Understand the market that the collections contact strategy product competes in and ensure that the product maintains a competitive advantage
- Support the HO Customer Analytics and Insights, HO Customer Assist and EM of Collections Strategic, by executing on the overall product strategy to the extent that the product you own contributes to future state strategic environment.
- Manage stakeholders - balancing both customers and business needs and able to translate them into features
- Lead the solutioning and implementation of a decisioning engine to optimise debt collection strategies, leveraging data, business rules, and predictive models.

What do I need?
- Demonstrated experience in leadership roles managing large teams + senior leader or executive management
- Significant experience working in a large and complex organisation within the financial services industry
- Proven experience in Collections, Credit Risk, Analysis (AB testing, AI, ML), and Reporting (PowerBI, Tableau)
- Deep understanding of the Finance market in Australia – challenges, trends, competitive & regulatory environment
- Demonstrated experience with implementing and managing Risk & Compliance, 1st line within the teams
