Are you a passionate, skilled Vet Nurse who loves what you do? We’re looking for a Part-time Vet Nurse to join our talented and dynamic team at Chatswood Vetfriends.
Vetfriends Chatswood is a purpose-built clinic, which opened its doors in 2005. We are a tight knit team consisting of vets and nurses who care about the patients as their own. Our focus is to improve your pets’ quality of life by providing the premium standard of care with latest knowledge and equipment whilst keeping our clients as educated as possible about their pets’ health through effective and personable communication.

What We’re Looking For:
-
A qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant certifications.

Strong experience in nursing and handling a variety of cases.
-
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

A genuine passion for animal care and a commitment to providing the best service to our clients and their pets.

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
About The Role
-
Provide exceptional customer care and education to our clients
-
Support our Vets with routine examinations, diagnostics and procedures
-
Manage the admission and discharge of surgical and hospital cases
-
Provide surgical and hospital nursing including monitoring anaesthetics
-
Conduct blood collection and testing, iv catheter placement
-
Prepare and administer medications as required
-
Assist with x-rays, ultrasounds and dental procedures
-
Maintain surgical and treatment areas infection control
-
Provide pre and post compassionate care to hospitalised cases
-
General day to day nursing duties.
