Labourer

GemLife is currently seeking a labourer to join our newly created second residential construction crew at our Deception Bay site in Moreton Bay

There's plenty of work ahead – we expect several years of ongoing projects at this site alone, with many more sites scheduled to begin this year .

As a skilled labourer your duties will be to assist the trades and be able to use power tools and be generally useful and proactive around the site, you will also be expected to keep the site clean and tidy, plus to assist in general labouring wherever needed.

QA Build, the building arm of GemLife, offers training and growth opportunities for team members who are keen to advance their careers.

We are seeking individuals who are hardworking, reliable and who have their white card with experience in working as a skilled labourer on a construction site as a minimum.

About You

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team
• Strong safety initiative
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be reliable and dedicated to the role
• General knowledge of the construction industry and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards.
• Current Driver's Licence
• Construction Industry Card (White Card)
