Description:
Contract Administrator – Property ProjectsFull-time | Competitive salary + project variety | Melbourne-based
A privately owned tourism and hospitality business is seeking a capable and detail-driven Contract Administrator to support the delivery of a suite of property development projects on King Island, Tasmania. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing operation with a strong pipeline of work across residential, civil, and tourism-related infrastructure.
Working closely with the Senior Project Manager and executive team, the Contract Administrator will play a key role in the financial and contractual administration of multiple concurrent projects. These include the development of workforce accommodation, construction of premium guest houses, land subdivision, and associated services infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing contracts, scopes of work, procurement tracking, variations, progress claims, reporting, and ensuring key project documentation is accurate and compliant throughout.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in contract administration within construction, property development, or civil infrastructure projects, and a working knowledge of contract types, cost control systems, and site delivery processes. Strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently across multiple workstreams will be key to success in this role.
This position can be based in Melbourne, or in Tasmania, with regular travel to King Island required depending on project stage and candidate location. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a small, collaborative team and wants exposure to interesting and meaningful work in a beautiful, remote setting.
A competitive salary is on offer, with flexibility for experience and travel arrangements. Relocation or site accommodation support may also be available for the right candidate.
