Location: Albury-Wodonga Region (Candidates ideally based in Shepparton)
Positions Available: 2 Trade Assistants (with potential for more hires)
Pay Rate: From $35/hr + penalties + Super (based on experience)
About the Role We are seeking experienced Trade Assistants (TAs) to assist a skilled team in solar panel remediation across the Albury-Wodonga region. This role involves physically demanding labour , including the removal and installation of damaged solar panels, often in challenging outdoor conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual labour-intensive tasks , including lifting, carrying, and securing panels
- Assist with the removal and installation of solar panels safely and efficiently
- Work closely with tradespeople to maintain workflow and meet daily targets (20 panels per team of 2)
- Adhere to strict workplace safety standards
- Handle and transport materials as required
- Prior experience in solar or panel installation is essential
- Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation (accommodation is not provided )
- Based in Shepparton preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
- Competitive pay rates with penalties
