ABOUT THE POSITION.
This role involves a Technical Principal Geotechnical Engineer responsible for leading and managing complex geotechnical projects from conception to completion as well as growing and developing the Wollongong Team. You will be heavily involved working closely with the managing director as well as working in parallel with the Sydney team.
DUTIES.
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams, overseeing geotechnical designs, and ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Analysing and interpreting geotechnical data to provide accurate and customised advice to clients
  • Developing and implementing geotechnical standards
  • Managing site investigations, preparing technical reports, and conducting risk assessments
  • Identifying innovative solutions and ensuring best practices in ground control management
  • Mentoring and supporting Junior Geotechnical Engineers
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • A relevant bachelor's degree or higher in engineering
  • Chartered status
  • Extensive experience working within a Geotechnical Consultancy and proven project portfolio
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software packages and modelling techniques
