Strata AccountantWe are seeking an experienced Strata Accountant to join our industry leading company with over 30 years in the Strata industry in Sydney's CBD.
This role is responsible for the financial management of a portfolio of strata schemes providing financial guidance to the associated Treasurer’s and their strata committees along with the appointed Strata Manager and Trainee Strata Manager.

JOB DUTIES:
- Annual budget preparation facilitating the specific requirements of each strata scheme.
- Communicating with the allocated strata managers the financial complexities or challenges of the strata
schemes.
- Financial compliance management of strata schemes including annual financial statements and audit
preparation.
- Taxation management including BAS, PAYG and GST compliance.
- Resolution of escalated matters from the Finance Officer including accounts payable and receivable,
payments, bank reconciliations, etc.
- Compliance review of invoices as specified by the internal authority matrix.
- Compilation of the weekly payments process and preparation of the EFT file for approval.
- Capture of schedule B undertakings.

- $85,000 - $95,000 + Superannuation (dependent on your experience)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Certified Practising Accountant or Chartered Accountant (mandatory)
- Solid understanding of financial management, audit and taxation requirements for Strata properties
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail, admin skills and Microsoft Office experience
