About The Role
Right now, we are looking for a Return to Work Advisor to join the team. This is a permanent full time role based in Wollongong, Head Office in Brisbane.
Preferred experience in injury management however, open to candidates that have skills that align to the role.
You will be responsible for:
- Facilitate a return to work to pre-injury duties by working with the injured worker, their representatives, host clients, relevant insurers, and others as appropriate to achieve positives RTW outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with managers on all aspects of activities concerning to return to work, rehabilitation initiatives, reasonable adjustments, injury prevention and safe return to work after a workplace injury has occurred.
- Effectively manage statutory claims to maximise outcomes for both the injured worker and therefore the organisation.
- Maintain information and processes within the organisations Injury Management Software.
- Prepare reports related to RTW claim status for external stakeholders and host clients.
- Maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders for a greater return to work outcome.
To be successful in this role you will be a self starter with a drive to deliver and be passionate about helping others succeed.
You will also have:
- Demonstrated experience in a return to work and/or injury management position.
- Ability to work within a team as well as autonomously.
- Ability to effectively lead the coordination of workers compensation claims management processes and early intervention strategies.
- Knowledge of compensation legislative standards and guidelines and how to apply them.
- Highly proficient in the use of technologies; Microsoft suite of products, and online injury management software.
