Now Careers are currently looking to add an experienced steel fixer to our precast team in Wetherill Park.This is an ongoing role working Monday - Friday with regular overtime through the week and weekends. There is also the opportunity to go permanent with the client who have a busy schedule throughout 2025.
About the job:
- All indoor work based in Wetherill Park.
- Manufacturing precast elements including walls, columns and architectural panels.
- Great working environment with a focus on safety and creating a safe and happy working environment for everyone.
- Read and interpret steel drawings and plans.
- Tie steel cages and mesh.
- Working within a team environment to complete tasks in a safe and timely manner.
What we offer:
- $43 + penalty rates.
- Immediate start with ongoing work and opportunity for permanent employment.
- Monday - Friday with regular overtime including weekends.
- Paid every Wednesday.
- Great team environment with weekly BBQ's
- Monthly RDO.
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years experience in steel fixing.
- Previous experience in precast very beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret steel plans and drawings.
- Excellent team player
- Ability to follow instructions and work to a timeframe.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Own transport.
