We are seeking a Site HSE Coordinator to play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our major construction project in the Solomon Islands.

Role Overview:

As the Site HSE Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting and enforcing a culture of safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain HSE management systems.

• Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

• Investigate incidents and near-misses, ensuring corrective actions.

• Support the Service Delivery Team in HSE matters.

• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.

• Ensure compliance with Australian and local safety regulations.

• Monitor and maintain safety equipment, registers, and documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).

• Cert IV in Environmental Management (preferred).

• 2+ year experience in construction HSE management.

• 4+ years as an HSE practitioner.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and compliance monitoring skills.

• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).

• Experience in HSE Systems such as Hammertech highly regarded.

• Ability to lead, influence, and embed a strong safety culture.

• Licenses/Certifications Required – Construction White Card, Senior First Aid.
