What is the Permanent Relief Team?

The Permanent Relief Team is a dedicated group of around 60 skilled educators and teachers, who work across diverse regions to make a real difference in the lives of children. Led by a seasoned early childhood professional, the team is supported by dedicated coordinators, ensuring you always have the resources you need to thrive.

The Role

We’re on the hunt for a passionate and dedicated Bachelor Qualified Early Childhood Teacher who’s ready to make a real impact! If you're a fully qualified educator with experience in delivering high-quality early education in a play-based setting, this is your chance to shine.

In this role, you’ll work Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day, and be available for a variety of shifts, including opening and closing, as you'll take on the responsibility of being a nominated person.

Candidates will need:

  • A recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree level of qualification in Early Childhood or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Eligible to become a Nominated Supervisor
  • A driver's license and access to a car, as this position will require you to travel to different services
  • Work rights to enable you to work in Australia
  • Current and Separate First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate
  • Completed & Current training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and how they apply in your state
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
