Timber And Wood Products Operations Traineeship

Opportunity for entry level applicants interested in learning about timber fabrication!
Location: Narangba
Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
Are you interested in the process of timber manufacturing? Would you like to learn the ropes of fabricating and using tools and machinery?
Throughout this traineeship you will work towards a certificate III in Timber and Wood Products Operations (FWP30322).
What's involved?
Throughout the traineeship duration you get to the learn the following:

• Visually assess materials
• Quality and product care procedures
• Produce sawn boards
• Assessing and maintaining cutters and blades
• Use of hand and power tools
• Chainsaw operations
• Receival and dispatch operations
• WHS procedures and housekeeping

The pay rate ranges between $18.07 - $20.61 per hour throughout the duration of the traineeship until qualified. This depends on your age and when you left school.
