About the role:Exciting hands-on Accounting opportunity in the rapidly growing aged care sector! Join a private equity-backed, franchise-based provider that’s expanding quickly. We’re looking for an Accountant to support the financial functions of our clients Home Care Package (HCP) network. This role offers the chance to make a real impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile and post Income Tested Fees for HCP clients
- Maintain and update client records in internal systems
- Collate and follow up on HCP invoices and claims from the network
- Assist in the preparation of Services Australia Claims
- Generate recipient-created tax invoices for fund distribution
- Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) for statutory reporting
- Monitor client accounts receivables and flag anomalies
- Liaise with external stakeholders when necessary
- Assist with the export of HCP data to Xero and VisualCare
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping (preferred)
- Proven experience in similar functions or roles
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
