What you will be doing:
You will be seeing paediatric clients in the clinic (70%) and out in the community (schools, home settings) (30%), conducting initial assessments, creating tailored therapy plans underpinning evidence based practice, facilitating meaningful and engaging therapy sessions, taking progress notes and writing NDIS reports when required. You will support clients presenting with ASD, complex physical disability, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, gifted children, developmental delay needing support with assistive technology and minor home modifications.
How you will be supported:
As an early career clinician, you will recieve fortnightly supervision with a Senior OT, recieve a uncapped PD allowance for external training, have the opportunity to undertake leadership courses if you wish and participate in an annual professional development conference. Additionally, you will participate in weekly discipline specific team trainings and engage in multidisciplinary trainings once a month.
