About the Role: This position is designed for a Criminal Lawyer with 1–2 years PAE who is eager to develop their expertise and build a long-term career in criminal defence. You will work closely with seasoned legal professionals on a diverse caseload, including:

• Criminal defence for summary and indictable offences
• Bail applications and sentencing matters
• Traffic and regulatory offences
• Domestic violence proceedings

With regular appearances in Magistrates, District, and Supreme Courts , this role will sharpen your advocacy, litigation, and negotiation skills , equipping you for career advancement within the firm. A strong mentoring culture ensures you receive the guidance and training needed to take your legal career to the next level .
Key Requirements:

• 1–2 years PAE in Criminal Law
• Queensland Practising Certificate (mandatory)
• Experience in court advocacy, case preparation, and client representation
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage files independently while receiving ongoing mentorship
