Duty Manager-Outback Queensland-Hotel/Motel VenueWe are looking for a Duty Manager to join this friendly team and oversee day-to-day operations of this multi-faceted hotel/motel venue.
As the Duty Manager, you will be the face of the establishment, ensuring all our customers enjoy a seamless and memorable experience. You will play a vital role in managing staff, resolving any issues, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service. Your strong communication skills and warmth will contribute to creating an inviting atmosphere for both guests and employees.
In this dynamic role, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with departments, plan and implement service protocols, and enhance guest satisfaction.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that the tavern runs smoothly during your shifts, addressing any challenges that arise, and providing support to our team.
Rich in history, flora and fauna, the location offers unique tours, museums and culture to explore on days off.

Pay Details:
- $71,350 + Super
- FOC Accommodation own room with shared amenities
- General day to day duties in reception, bar and bottle shop and bistro service
- Supervision and training of F&B staff
- General gaming duties-payouts and gaming clearances
- Cash up and balance of tills
- Open and close procedures
- Making drinks, stocking fridges
- Maintaining stock levels
- Other duties as requested
- Must be willing to live and work in a remote area
- Have a current RSA & RSG & CLO
- Have or be willing to obtain a QLD RMLV (Approx $300) + QLD Approved Manager (Approx $560)
- Have previous hospitality experience at supervisory level
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Will be required to undertake a Fit2Work Clearance
