Mini Car Rentals is a local, family-owned car hire business based in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service, quality vehicles, and a seamless rental experience for both domestic and international visitors. As part of our growing team, we are looking for a Japanese-speaking Car Rental Officer to help us deliver outstanding customer service.
About the Role:
As a Car Rental Officer (All-Rounder), you will play a key role in assisting customers, processing bookings, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll be part of a young and vibrant team, helping visitors make the most of their time in Cairns!

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Fluent in Japanese & proficient in English
✅ Permanent resident (no Working Holiday visa holders)
✅ Full, open car licence with driving experience
✅ Strong customer service skills & a friendly, professional attitude
✅ Ability to work well in a team and independently
✅ General computer skills for processing bookings & emails
✅ Confident & self-motivated, with a can-do approach
✅ Physically fit and able to assist with vehicle handovers
✅ Experience in the tourism industry is an advantage but not required
