The Future Students and International Engagement Division is seeking an Associate Director, Admissions Oversight & Performance to drive a culture of analytically-based strategy, innovation and collaboration, achieving against quality, compliance and recruitment optimisation metrics. This position is also UOW's primary liaison with the University Admissions Centre (UAC). The Associate Director, Admissions Oversight & Performance requires experience, understanding of current issues in the sector and a sophisticated technical knowledge base to lead the development of projects and initiatives aimed at improving admissions outcomes. A strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, sector issues, and admissions processes are essential to allow you to evaluate strategy, validate decisions and make adjustments to optimise quality student inflow as business needs change.
You will work collaboratively across university stakeholders on and offshore, working across multiple application programs and processing teams to apply sound judgement in decision making and achieve consistency. The Associate Director will provide expert advice to senior stakeholders as the institutional SME for Admissions. Your excellent communication skills will go hand in hand with your negotiation and influencing skills to build and nurture these strong connections and continually evolve a student-centric entry to UOW. As the Associate Director you will engage a holistic approach to lead, manage and develop a team of specialists who will be able to see and think beyond the current scope of the business to make a positive impact on the admissions function and understand changing sector landscapes. Your direction on how to stay ahead of the competitors in an ever-changing environment and deliver an efficient and effective experience like no other will ensure UOW remains a leader in the education sector.
