We're in search of a dedicated Liaison/Welfare Officer who embodies the values of judgment, integrity, and responsibility. This role requires excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and the availability to work flexible hours.
As a Liaison/Welfare Officer, you will play a pivotal role in our organisation, where no two days are the same. Your work will involve attending to the well-being of our employees in the region, conducting inductions, and facilitating face-to-face meetings. You'll also be responsible for ensuring health and safety compliance, monitoring, and reporting. Additionally, you'll assist with managing your assigned tasks, which may even involve on-site supervision of seasonal workers and liaising with our farmers. Your keen eye for detail will be invaluable during regular accommodation inspections.
To excel in this role, you'll need to be flexible with your working hours, including weekends and some evenings. This role will require flexible work hours and key aspects of the role will include coordination and administration duties that comprise of, but are not limited to the following:
• Attend to Worker Wellbeing requirements in the region.
• Assisting with inductions and delivering face to face meetings.
• Health and Safety compliance, monitoring and reporting
• Assisting with Rostering
• Managing of nominated assignments which may include on the ground supervision of seasonal workers and farmer liaison.
• Regular inspections of accommodation and transport
• Pick up and drop off to Airports
