Sales and Technical Lead

Project Engineering is a market leader in the design and supply of Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) solutions, with equipment used in mining, geothermal and municipal systems. The company is currently expanding into providing complete aquifer management systems and is supported by its parent company Vysarn Limited, a vertically integrated water services provider.

The Sales and Technical Lead will be responsible for building a high level of product line and operational knowledge across all workstreams. Working closely with our customers at site and office locations, whilst also promoting our products to new customers.

What does the role entail?

  • Align business development with Project Engineering's business strategy to grow existing client relationships and realise new client revenue opportunities.
  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities within new and existing clients to support the continued successful growth Project Engineering has been experiencing.
  • Enhance Vysarn Group’s market proposition through client interface and promoting opportunities across the whole business.
  • Driving the sales mix to support growth targets, develop the pipeline, and ensure no erosion of existing sales mix.
  • Develop practical problems to client’s water problems by leveraging the abilities within Project Engineering and affiliate business units.
  • Provide on-site client support when dealing with problems.

The skills and attributes you require to be successful.

  • A technical background in water systems, pumping, water storage with studies in engineering or a mechanical trade.
  • Previous sales experience within a technical setting, where you provided end-to-end solutions for clients.
  • A strong desire to learn, be innovative and motivated to take Project Engineering to the next level.
  • Ability to communicate at different levels within organisations as well as making meaningful connections with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Experience in using the Microsoft Office suite of products, CRM and ERP systems.
  • At least 10 years’ experience would be preferable.
  • Possess a driver’s license, have unrestricted work rights within Australia and be able to pass a pre-employment medical.
  • Willing to travel to client sites throughout Australia, as required.
