About the role
Our Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas projects across the country. These include process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, leases, network gathering and distribution systems, major gas transmission pipelines, oil and gas above ground processing facilities, as well as maintenance, integrity and construction related work programs. The role is offered on a full-time basis.
Skills & experience
We are looking for a qualified Project Manager with 8+ years experience to join our Perth team working on project portfolios across the energy and resources, specifically oil, gas and mining sectors. We are looking for an energetic team player who can lead projects, consult with clients and mentor the junior team members.
Key Duties and Requirements:
- Experience in Project Management: Proven experience managing large, complex integrated projects, preferably within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on drilling, completion, and commissioning of gas wells.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical background and knowledge in asset workstreams such as subsurface, drilling & completion (D&C), facilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Demonstrated ability to engage and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and management.
- Budget & Financial Management: Experience in tracking project budgets, forecasting costs, managing actuals, and ensuring the financial health of a project.
- Schedule Management: Ability to track and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met, and making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
- Contractor & Supplier Management: Experience in managing external contractors and suppliers, ensuring they meet deliverables and quality standards within agreed timelines.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
