About the role
We are looking for a Specialist Business Improvement to join the Greater Nammuldi Operational Excellence team to drive innovation and site initiatives to deliver additional sustained value in accordance with company safety, environmental and statutory requirements.

You have the option to either work on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster from Perth, Busselton, Geraldton, or Albany, or choose to fly in and out of Perth on a 5/2,4/3 roster. These flexible rosters will give you more time to focus on what's important to you and spend time with the people in your life.
Reporting to the Principal Business Improvement you will:

Facilitating and leading high value projects across site using recognised Business Improvement methodologies

Coaching and influencing project owners to deliver results quickly and with maximum value

Interpreting costs and production drivers to inform strategic thinking and the evaluation and prioritisation of initiatives

Undertaking KPI analysis, improvements and project work designed to identify opportunities to add business value

Assisting in the facilitation of our transformation program maturity

Creating a site culture of sustainable improvement.
What you’ll bring

A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset

A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Engineering or related discipline
-
Lean Six Sigma (ideally Black Belt or higher) and/or similar Business Improvement certification
-
Experience leading Kaizen projects
-
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
-
Power BI capability preferred
-
Extensive experience using business improvement processes within the mining, manufacturing or heavy industry
-
Demonstrated workshop facilitation capability
-
Project team leadership experience
-
Confident interpersonal style with experience collaborating across a diverse stakeholder group
-
A current C class manual drivers’ licence

Where you will be working
Greater Nammuldi is located on the lands of the Muntlgura Guruma people in the Eastern Pilbara, approximately 90 kilometres southwest of Tom Price. Originally part of Greater Brockman, operations began in 1992 with the commencement of work at Brockman 2, the first FIFO operation for Hammersley Iron.
Its operations are made up of Nammuldi BWT, Brockman 2, and Silvergrass, moving around 200-million tonnes of dirt per year. Nammuldi is also one of the first autonomous mines established in the world.
Witha FIFO workforce of around 1400, our team commutes from Perth, Geraldton, Albany and Busselton.
