Wood is recruiting for a Lead Planner to join our Minerals & Metals business. Based in Perth, you will be supporting one of our key clients. This is opportunity is available on a contract basis.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain baseline project plans and schedules using appropriate scheduling software.
- Monitor and control planning activities through all phases of project lifecycle
- Liaise with engineering, procurement and construction functions, and others as required, including third parties, to maintain awareness of project activities, their status, and their impact on the project schedule and resource requirements.
- Work cohesively and collaboratively across the breadth of stakeholders, to build a culture of partnership and commitment to successful portfolio delivery and management.
Qualifications
You will be an Australian citizen or be eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia.
Your career will have seen you working across a range of projects leading towards a focus within project controls/planning.
Your strengths in schedule management, planning and project reporting will have seen your ability to guide and manage a breadth of varied engineering and project scopes.
In addition, you will have:
- A minimum 8 -year relevant scheduling/planning experience within the mining industry
- Proficient knowledge of Project Execution Procedures for Scheduling
- Proficient understanding of WBS & CBS structures and project reporting capabilities
- Proficient understanding of earned value application, cost and schedule variance analyses/trending
- Good understanding of Cost Management, Change Control, Planning & Risk Analysis & Management
