Are you a strategic procurement professional looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a Procurement Business Partner to manage and optimise procurement strategies across Corporate Services and Engineering Contracts.
About the Role
In this role, you will partner with key stakeholders to deliver procurement solutions that drive value, efficiency, and innovation. You will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies while supporting the organisation's long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for Corporate Services and Engineering-related contracts.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including market engagement, tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
- Provide commercial and contractual advice to internal stakeholders, ensuring best-value outcomes.
- Collaborate with business units to understand procurement needs and align sourcing strategies with organisational objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within procurement and supply chain management.
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster strong supplier relationships to enhance service delivery and business outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Degree in business, commerce, quantity surveying, law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain within Corporate Services or Engineering.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse contracts and negotiate favourable terms.
- Experience working in a complex, regulated environment (utilities, infrastructure, or government experience desirable).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive collaboration.
- Knowledge of procurement frameworks, policies, and relevant legislation.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and reporting tools.
